Mayberry’s View“Every plastic surgeon wants to have satisfied patients. All of us want to realize the most natural, realistic, and beautiful outcomes for those in our care.
But that’s only part of my professional goal.
My highest aspiration is for every patient to feel happier, more confident, and more optimistic because of their relationship with me.
That’s what I work very hard to achieve every day.” |
Always a gifted art student and later a recognized sculptor, Aaron Mayberry knew he wanted to be a doctor at a very early age. After meeting a plastic surgeon as a teenager, his path was set. As he says: “I realized that plastic surgery was the perfect synthesis of my love for art and science.”
More than two decades after graduating from University of Michigan Medical School and being selected by Duke University Medical Center for a fellowship in plastic surgery, Dr. Mayberry is respected by patients and colleagues alike. He is known for his artistic eye and practiced hand. Patients appreciate his sense of practicality and clarity in discussing with them what is and is not possible as a result of his work.
Dr. Mayberry has been named one of Americas Top Plastic Surgeons by the Consumers’ Research Council of America each year since 2006.
