Arm Lift

Performing the Surgery
The procedure generally begins with liposuction. Our doctor will remove the fat from selected problem areas, such as the hips, thighs, back, and abdomen. He uses a fat transfer system called the Wells Johnson High Volume Precision Auto-Graft Infusion System, which eliminates the challenges of traditional fat transfer methods that can lead either to contamination or a loss of valuable fat.
The suctioned fat is then purified before he injects the fat into the buttocks in small amounts, strategically placing it at different depths to form a beautiful new curve. Dr. Mayberry is guided by a wireless Clarius ultrasound device, which gives him an advantage over traditional methods of fat transfer.This is rapidly becoming the standard of care for this procedure across the country.
Once the injected areas heal, your bottom will feel completely normal. There should not be any lumps, such as those that often occur with buttock implants, since, in a Brazilian Butt Lift body sculpting procedure, your tissue has been used to create an ideally-contoured bottom.

How Does It Work?
Liposuction is performed under local anesthesia for smaller areas and deeper anesthesia for larger areas. Typically, Dr. Mayberry makes tiny incisions into the treatment area and infuses a solution to numb the area.
He then inserts a cannula (small tube) through the incisions to suction out the fat. We have the latest equipment to create more precise contours with less blood loss.

How Is the Procedure Performed?
It is performed under general anesthesia in an accredited same-day surgery center, where you’ll receive personalized care and attention. Depending on your needs, the breast enhancement portion of your Mommy Makeover may include a lift or reduction.
Recovering From the Procedure
Our patients are quite happy after they have recovered and seen their transformed figures. At first, you’ll need to walk in a bent-over position, as your abdomen will be quite tight.
You will be instructed to refrain from lifting, so plan for help during the first week if you have young children who need to be lifted into and out of the tub, highchair, or car seat. You will have drains inserted into your lower abdomen to help eliminate excess fluid and create a tight tummy.
We will give you complete instructions about emptying these and tracking the amount of liquid that is collected. You’ll also have a compressive garment to wear as well as a post-surgery bra. Again, complete instructions will be given as to how long to wear these and how to manage removing and replacing them in the shower.
Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty)
Tummy tuck surgery is most common among women. It takes between two and five hours to perform on an outpatient basis. Since pregnancy stretches the skin and muscles of the stomach, our doctor typically recommends that female patients wait until after they have finished having children to have a tummy tuck.
How Does It Work?
The standard abdominoplasty procedure includes two incisions. One around the belly button and a horizontal one that varies in length according to amount of skin removal needed. The skin and abdominal fat are lifted and the abdominal muscles are tightened. The excess skin is then removed and the incision is closed.
Who Qualifies for the Procedure?
If you have excess skin and muscle laxity from multiple pregnancies or experienced normal aging and/or weight loss, you may be a candidate for tummy tuck surgery.
Adding Liposuction for Maximum Results
Sometimes, there is excess love handle fat that is too stubborn for diet and exercise. In these cases, the best results may occur when you opt to make their waist more narrow by adding flank (love handle) liposuction.
